Issues
Introduction[?]Introduce yourself to the voters. Give an overview of your philosophy.
My name is Andrew and I'm running for president.
Abortion[?]What is your stand on abortion?
I believe abortion is wrong, I believe it is killing a life. I would work to see abortion made illegal. And doctors, who perform an abortion, and those who receive the abortion are charged with murder. The only times that I would allow an abortion to be performed is if it is a documented rape case or legitimate/absolute risk to the mother’s life. I would not allow an incest case that is not also rape, be a legal reason for an abortion because it is a choice.
Economy[?]How would you address current and future economic issues?
The economy is hurting, as a big part to promote job growth I would cut spending and cut taxes.
Education[?]What are your views on the Education system?
I believe that our children are our future and that thier education is the accentual tool to be successful in life. Our schools don't need more money; throwing money at schools isn't going to solve the problem. We need teachers who are skilled and actually enjoy their work. If a teacher isn't good then the government will pay for them to go back to college to get a degree in a different field. We need at system that can make the material fun for the students and more interesting. Students like to learn things that will actually apply to real life. If we can show them the application to life maybe they will take a more involved interest in that subject and make a career out of it.

I also believe that schools should not get money for how may students are in the classroom on a particular day but for how many students are in school in one average week. There needs to be more incentive for schools to advicate going to college and getting a dregree. Schools should be award federal money for each student who completes a 4 year degree within 8 years of their class graduation date.
Energy Policy[?]How would you address the energy needs of the country?
The energy crisis is killing America's economy. The summer of 2008 gas was over $4.00 a gallon. That is just plain unacceptable. We are sending $700 billion dollars a year to foreign countries that don't like us very much. Natural Gas powers 20% of America's electricity. If we could replace that 20% with 22% wind energy we could take all of that Natural Gas and put it into transportation energy. That would reduce our dependence on foreign oil by about 38%. I also am a strong believer in Nuclear Energy; I think we should build 50 new plants within the next 20 to 30 years. I would also propose a gas take holiday between Memorial Day and Labor Day. I would also push to drill oil here at home.
Environment[?]How would you balance the needs of the environment with the needs of the economy?
I am a proponent of green energy, but until green energy become easy to access and distribute I would not inhibit other forms of energy.
Foreign Policy[?]What should the United States' role be in the global community?
I would work with other countries to improve our standing and work with each other to make the world safer from terrorism. I would not sit down without preconditions with the president of Iran nor the president of North Korea.
Gay Marriage[?]What are your views on the rights of committed gay couples?
I believe gay marriage is wrong. If you were to allow gays to marry how could you leave out other minorities, like polygamists. You can't leave out other minorities if you allow gays to marry.
Health Care[?]How would you address the current health care situation?
Heath care is a great blessing this country. For those who cannot afford it I would give a $5000 tax credit for every American citizen, with a valid social security number, to go out and buy any insurance you want anywhere in the country, not just your own state.

I believe the current Republican proposed health care bill is the right course. The non-partison Congressional Budget Office projects that the Republican bill would lower heath care insurence premiums by up to 10% about $2,000 per year. The Democrats bill does the opposite, they increase the cost of heath care.
Immigration[?]How would you balance immigration and the needs of the workforce?
I welcome anyone who wants an opportunity in this great country. But they must come here legally and respect the laws of this land by obeying them. I would push for building a fence along the border and putting more border patrol agents on the border or the National Guard.
Iraq[?]What is your policy regarding the current War in Iraq?
I do not believe that the mission in Iraq is done. I would not want to leave Iraq until I have seen that the Iraqi government can handle a possible invasion from Iran or terrorist groups. If the Iraqi government and people would want us to leave we would. I would push for a removal of our troops by 2012. But I would leave behind 100,000 troops for security in Iraq.
National Security[?]How would you protect the country?
I would continue our missile defense research and construction of missile defence bases. I would advocate for the neccessary defenses against long range missiles from foriegn countries.
Tax Policy[?]What are your views on taxation?
In this economic crisis I do not believe it is the right course of action to increase taxes on anyone. Instead I think the government needs to cut back on unnecessary spending for useless programs that either don't work or doesn't help the majority of the American people. I would get rid of all the pork-barrel spending that has been quietly going on in Congress. I will veto any pork bills that arrive on my desk, I will make them famous and you will know their names.
Social Security[?]How should Social Security operate in the future?
Social Security is taken advantage of by too many people in this country. I would make it harder for those who don't need it to get it. I believe only the elderly and those who are absolutely unable to work should get it, either by physical or mental disability. Those who have worked before will be ineligible for Social Security until the age of 62.
