I am 100% pro-life. While respecting individual freedom and liberty and believing in personal choice, I do not believe that terminating an unwanted pregnancy is an option that should be legal.

Education is at the foundation of everything that makes America the great country that it is. The democratic process makes necessary an informed, intelligent public. Breaking barriers in technology, business, and other areas of American enterprise requires a strong program of education throughout the country. Every American child should have the opportunity to receive a high quality education. While believing this, I think that the best way to deliver that program is through specific curriculum development done at the local level, with federal and state goals used as measurements for program success.

Energy Policy[?]How would you address the energy needs of the country?

In the short-term, we must be willing to revise our domestic drilling policy. I believe that we need to drill here in the US and drill now. In the long-term, it essential to our economy and national security that we free ourselves from the shackles of dependence upon foreign oil. I do not believe that government funds should be used for research and development of alternative fuel sources, but the federal government must find ways to make private sector research an appealing venture, possibly through tax breaks to such corporations.

Foreign Policy[?]What should the United States' role be in the global community?

The Iraq War has shifted much attention to our role in the world. On the one hand, we are one of the wealthiest, most technologically advanced countries in the world. With that, some feel, comes a responsibility to end injustice provide aid when possible. On the other hand, we have many domestic problems that should be a priority over anything done in a foreign nation. I believe that America should stand for freedom around the world. To that end, it is essential that we build and maintain strong diplomatic relationships with other nations. If a dispute or injustice were to arise, these relationships could be utilized. One must be careful, though, with rogue leadership, as not to validate such governments. Economic sanctions can also be levied and as a last resort, military force is an option.
