I believe in a government run by the people for the people. I generally oppose big business interests in government, and I feel that the United States must protect her interests both at home and abroad.

The issue of abortion is often one that is frought with controversy. Unfortunately, many Americans have become divided over this issue. The fact remains, that legal or illegal, women will continue to recieve abortions. In order to protect the health of the mother, and to ensure the proper abortion techniques, the U.S. government must allow abortions to continue.

I favor a federal sponsorship of Planned Parenthood and similar programs. The federal government must serve as a partner in local communities and ensure that medical professionals are hired to perform the abortions and related procedures.

I have not decided my position on this issue.

It is clear that the education system in the United States is broken. No Child Left Behind is an underfunded program that puts too much emphasis on test results, and not enough emphasis on the learning and teaching process.

As President, I will support and propose legislation that gives teachers the resources they need to perform their jobs.

I do not support pay bonuses based on classroom performance.

I support a full sex education program. Abstinence only education is a proven failure. As President, I will also ensure that all schools are able to have physical education classes, and provide students with the proper materials for science related facilities.

The U.S. dependence on foreign oil is causing economic turmoil. We must end our dependence by creating wind farms and hydropower energy stations throughout the country. The only way to fully end our dependence is to support innovative technology that provides clean and safe energy for American households, businesses, and institutions.

As President,  I will offer tax breaks to auto manufacturers that create vehicles that offer 40 mpg or higher. This tax incenctive will drive the U.S. to the future along the right path.

I do not support offshore drilling. The risk of spill is high, and if incidents occur, the economies of Florida, Texas, Alaska, and other states that rely on tourism could be ruined.

I believe that we are stewards to the land we live on. As President, I will create initiatives for major cities to reduce pollution. I support carbon caps and will create an international summit to address the detereoration of the ozone layer.

Global warming is a real threat my friends. I support the formation of an international coalition to fund science based programs that will come up with solutions to handling the crisis.

I also support a $ 12 billion increase to the pockets of FEMA to deal with hurricanes and other natural disasters. I will hold FEMA accountable. Under my presidency, the effects that we saw under Hurricane Katrina will never happen again.

The United States must maintain a foreign policy that advocates the spread of democracy without invading other nations unprovoked.

As President, I will issue automatic sanctions on nations such as China and Iran that do not support general human rights.

I will lift the embargo on Cuba, so long as the Cuban government promises to enact certain civil liberty laws.

While I personally support the idea of gay marriages and civil unions, I feel that this issue is in fact a state issue. I will support the rights of the LGBT community in respect to hospital visitation, insurance allocation, etc.

45 million Americans remain uninsured. This number is unfortunate, and intolerable. As President, I will establish a committee of healthcare experts to help form a small federal program that will allow the most needy (children, the sick, etc) to sign up for an immediate public healthcare program. Over the course of three years, I plan to have a mid size public healthcare program for those who can not afford private insurance. I will allow all Americans to keep the insurance of their choice. By my second term as President, I plan on insuring all children. By my 7th year in the presidency, my goal is to have 38 million of the most needy uninsured, subscribed to a plan.

I also support reparations for Ground Zero workers, and benevolent insurance plans for members of the emergency services. (EMTs, Police officers, and firefighters).

The issue of immigration remains controversial and complex.

As President, I will support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants who have not committed crimes in their native lands. Those guilty of serious crimes, will be arrested and deported within 30 days.

I support the construction of a wall along certain parts of the US-Mexican border. As President, I will hire a team of 300-500 immigration specialists who will monitor the state of affairs internationally, and make suggestions to my cabinet as to how immigration issues will be dealt with.

I will support the immigration of refugees.

The War in Iraq is an unfortunate mistake.

I believe that the American people were misled.

As President, the first action I will take, is summit all of my cabinet members and discuss how the U.S. can pull out of Iraq. I will help Iraq assimilate into its own sovereign culture. Pressure will be put on the Arab League to assisst Iraq in her endeavors.

I plan on withrdrawing the first round of entry-level troops and those who have served over four tours of duty within 120 days of taking office. By the end of my first term, several battalions will be in Iraq to protect the troops who are being brought home. Entry-level troops and those serving their first tours of duty will be sent to Afghanistan. Those who have served three tours will be given a 6-month break period in which they will not have to serve.

The U.N. will recieve a letter from my office asking the chief of genocide operations to monitor the situation of the Kurdish people in Northern Iraq, as well.

As President, I will take all threats to the United States seriously.

I will engage in diplomacy with foreign leaders as well. Israeli security agents will be invited to the U.S. to help my cabinet and I protect all transit ports, the way they are protected in Israel.

I also support the current levels of security at all national and international airports.

I support a federal-based income tax. As President, I will erase income taxes for those over the age of 62 who have less than $25,000 a year combined income coming into their household. I will also reduce the federal income tax for parents with newly born babies by 1.5% per child for two years. Granted, this is not an incentive to have more children, it is just a bit of relief to the burden of having children. The reductions will not surpass 7.5% even if a family has 5 or more children.

I am strong supporter of government sponsored social security programs. As President, I will work with organizations such as the AARP to help create programs that fit the needs of each individual senior. I will also open up offices in locations with heavy populations of those recieving social security to expedite the process.

I plan on increasing social security benefits to those who have served in the military and first responders such as EMTs, police officers, and firefighters.

Israel

As President, the U.S. will have a pro-Israel stance that favors the establishment of an Israeli and Palestinian state. It is our duty to promote the democracy of Israel in such a volatile region.

Wiretapping
As President, random wiretappings will be illegal and will be deemed a felony if the Supreme Court grants my requests.

Stem Cell Research
I support government funding for stem cell research programs in both hospitals and private institutions/laboratories.

Science and Space
As President,  I will continue to fund NASA, and will use NASA to help discover the world's secrets. NASA will be used to help create educational programs about astrology and earth science as well. I will also support the cloning of plants and small animals. I do not support the cloning of humans, primates, or larger animals.
